Jennifer Cho

Jennifer Cho has worked extensively as an opera singer and concert soloist in Germany, France, Sweden, Italy and the United States in venues such as the Cathédrale Saint-Étienne de Toulouse, St. Andrew’s Music Society in NYC, the Neue Galerie, Columbia University, Northwestern University, Duke University, the Liederkranz Foundation, the Cornell Club, and for numerous foundations and corporations. She has portrayed a plethora of operatic roles such as the Female Chorus, Musetta, Zerlina, Aennchen, Despina, Susanna, the Goddess Virtue, etc., in venues such as the Staatstheater Darmstadt, the Municipal Theater of Castres in France and Merkin Hall in NYC. She recently sang Nanetta in Falstaff under the baton of Emmanuel Plasson with the L’Ensemble Instrumental du Pays de Cocagne. This season Jennifer will perform in in Spain and Norway. She is a dual degree graduate of Northwestern University and is the Executive Director of the New York Opera Society, which produces extensive internationally focused projects such as Ricardo Llorca’s “Las Horas Vacias” at the United Nations in 2008-2009, Gisle Kverndokk’s “George’s Marvellous Medicine” on tour with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in 2010-2011, etc.; featuring the formidable talents of her peers and NYOS’ orchestra.
