Oslo Operafestival – A New Heaven and A New Earth

Ymir chamber choir is a project based choir with experienced singers that sings the greatest works from the choir litterature of the 1900s. This time they bring out the big guns with a programme drenched in longing, pain and love: Frank Martin’s Mass for double choir, Sven-David Sandstrøm’s En ny Himmel och en ny Jord, Francis Poulenc’s Un soir de neige and Gustaf Mahler’s bitterly beautiful Ich bin der Welt abhanden gekommen, arranged by Clytus Gottwald.
