Saturday Opera – Confessions

Saturday Opera – Confessions

This season we return to start our Saturday Opera at 3.30 PM every saturday.

Programme

Experience Händel’s musical journey from Germany via Italy and finally to England; An opera composer always on the hunt for new expressions and arenas for his vocal compositions. He matures, is drawn between the mythological and the Christian. Händel confides himself to us through many of the most beautiful melodies in our world of classical music. Lascia ch’io pianga, Ombra mai fu, Tornami a vagheggiar, Endless pleasure, Endless love and Ah spietato are some of the amazing arias the audience will hear performed by the established musicians of Ensemble Freithoff. We can guarantee lots of drama with storytelling, direction and improvisations.
