Katarzyna Haras graduated with honours from the Department of Vocal Performance at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. She subsequently completed her Doctorate from the same music academy Katarzyna has won many prizes for her singing at vocal competitions such as Stonavska Barborka 2008 and Mikulas Schneider-Trnavský International Vocal Competition (Slovakia 2008). She was the 2008 semi-finalist Jette Parker Young Artists Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

Her operatic debut was Rosina in The Barber of Seville by Rossini (Opera Festival in Amarante, Portugal). She also played Carmen with Wrocław Opera at the Festival Opera in Xanten, Germany.

Since 2010 Katarzyna has been a soloist at Wrocław Opera as well as appearances at Silesion Opera. Regular performances include operas by W.A. Mozart (Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Second Dame in The Magic Flute and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni), G. Bizet: title role in Carmen, P. Tchaikovsky: Olga in Eugene Onegin, G.Verdi (Eboli in Don Carlo directed by Waldemar Zawodziński, Flora in La traviata), J. Strauss: Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus, C. Saint-Saëns: Delilah in Samson and Delilah, R. Strauss: Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier, S. Moniuszko: Hedwig in The Haunted Manor, I.J. Paderewski: Aza in Manru directed by Laco Adamik, R. Leoncavallo: Lola in Cavalleria rusticana, Z. Krauze: Greta in The Trap and
G. Donizetti: Alice in Lucia di Lammermoor are part of her performance repertoire.

Katarzyna also performs in oratorio and cantata repertoire, among others in Stabat Mater by G.B. Pergolesi, Stabat Mater and Gloria by A. Vivaldi, St Matthew Passion by J.S. Bach, Coronation Mass and Requiem by W.A Mozart, Missa solemnis and Ninth Symphony by L. van Beethoven.
